What People are Saying about the Rosary Crusade
Some pictures and comments from Rosary Rally Captains
We held our rosary crusade at the corners of Apiesdoring and Koorsboom streets in Heuweloord, a suburb in Centurion West in Pretoria. This venue is directly opposite the McDonald’s food outlet.
The weather was a bit nippy but the parishioners from St. Thomas More Catholic in Monavoni – Centurion, braved the weather and came in numbers.
The number of adults who attended were 38 and the children were 7 and all in all we were 45. The children took a lead of the rosary as we felt that the Fatima message came through the children.
I joined the Lesedi Community from our Parish and prayed the Rosary with them next to the Magistrate’s Court, on the 13th October at 12.00pm.
We had lots of competition, as the flea market was still happening, and in the City Hall, there was a wedding in the one hall and a prize-giving for a College in the other hall. But we stood our ground and prayed and prayed until we were done. We even got wet, but we carried on regardless.
We were blessed that day, with some amazing rain. Actually it was an electric storm. We always say that Our Lady brings the rain as it was Our Fátima Feast that weekend.
My Rally was a success and everything went well, but it was cold and raining but that didn’t stop us to pray, and from my point of view that rain was a sign of Our Lady is with us. She is happy about what we are doing, it was blessings. And I thank God for that and people came in numbers.

Lamontville is a place in KwaZulu Natal just outside of Durban. In our Parish the priest wanted us to dedicate the whole October month in praying the Rosary daily in wards. On the last Saturday of the month which was 27/10/2018 we ended with a public Rosary prayer that took place in a busy spot a few kilometers away from the church. We had a very powerful prayer mixed with powerful singing,We had our St. Mary statue together with the banner displayed on the roadside. From there we proceeded to the church, with the St Mary children leading us carrying the statue and the banner. The priest ended the day with a moving Mass. We dispersed late in the day everybody in good spirit.
The rosary rally was perfectly fine on the 14 of October.
We held it outside Unika primary school at the corner of
Just the few people attend as there were so many rallies
around my area in Blairgowrie. Everyone was so excited
and we planning to do another public prayer second
week of November at 12noon.
For the first time organising the rosary rally it became successful. Thanks to your prayers. A group of bible course participants from different parishes walked out of the lecture class towards the R101 road between Mokopane and Mookgopong in a scorching hot sun praying the rosary. 33 people attended the rally including our bible course Lecturer Fr Sunny and Sr Bernadette. What was striking is that passersby motorist recognised us by hooting even if they did not stop. We prayed the rosary earnestly with our fellow South Africans. It was a moving and fulfilling experience .The love and peace of Our Blessed Mother was felt. We ended the rosary rally at the Marian Rosary Park. JESUS MARY AND JOSEPH WE LOVE YOU SAVE SOULS.
I am please to tell you that we hosted the Rosary Crusade here at Khubetsoana Maseru, Lesotho and it was blessed by 39 participants. We have also recruited number of Captains, Glory to Our Almighty God.
We are intending to gather together every month and do Rosary, every Saturday following the 13th. More captains will be recruited thru out Lesotho by this intention.
It was bautiful. We decided to walk around a block saying the Rosary. At each corner we stopped and continued the decade. We then continued into the Church and offered flowers as a token of our appreciation to Our Mother and Lady for always interceding. Our Lady was present. We then all meditated and offered our intentions. We then had praise and worship.
Our Rosary Rally at St Bernadette’s Parish, Walmer, Port Elizabeth went well. About 80 people attended: we commenced with the Angelus and then went in procession around the streets of Walmer, with the banner, led by acolytes; the students of the St Philip Neri Collegium led us in singing the prayers of the Rosary; Marian hymns were also sung, and on return to the Church, we prayed the Litany of Loreto. The event concluded with Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. We trust that our prayers, in union with those of others around the country and world, will be accepted by our Holy Mother!
The rally went very well in the town of Westonaria, south of Johannesburg where the event went well despise some challenges that did not stop the determined believers to complete the programme with disciplined procession through the town to the Immaculate Consumption parish which was completed in two hours.
The organizers included the ever ready Devies and Chabeli families who were joined by many parishioners and non catholic members of goodwill – we are very thankful for the achievement.
The attached photos mark the journey met with some curious bystanders who wanted to know what the rally was all about and the banner did most of our message.
There were rally’s at 4 locations in our Parish.
Hime Street Park
Reiger Rd Park
I volunteered to be captain on the 13 May 2017, and I was so happy that I did that , we need Our Lady’s help in this world and country of ours with so many problems.
I did not commit to do the Rally on Saturday because at our church St Joseph’s Parish in Primrose, we were having an evening Rosary prayer with a procession around the block. I still had the banner I had received from the public Rosary in May 2017 and so together with our priest Fr L K and our altar servers, we displayed the banner in front of the procession as we walked.
I had however there and then made up my mind that I would still do the Rally on Saturday . So I made the invitation to the prayer groups hoping that we would have a few people joining me. I am not sure if my location was not favourable, but I had a very poor turn out. This did not impede me, I still persevered with the Rosary with my daughters that accompanied me .
It was through this that I received a special Grace and I thank Holy Mary Our Mother for never ignoring our petitions and requests.
In my life I have been Blessed by the Holy Spirit in so many wonderful ways. Prayers that have been answered and especially during the Feasts of our Lady Mother of God and all because she always comes to the aid of her children. AMEN
I have attached some pictures of our procession and of the Rally on Saturday with my daughters.
I am truly grateful for the work you do and I pray that you continue from strength to strength with the help of all of us.
